Hartville Group to Include Pet Travel Assistance Services with Pet Insurance Plans
Partnership with Global Pet Plus first of its kind among US pet insurance providers
The Hartville Group announced today it has partnered with Global Pet Plus to provide Hartville’s pet insurance customers with pet travel assistance services.
One of the oldest and largest pet insurance providers in the US, Hartville, through its subsidiary agency, is the first among the nation’s pet insurance providers to include emergency travel assistance with its plans.
The Hartville Group provides pet insurance through its subsidiary agency under the brand names ASPCA Pet Health Insurance, Hartville Pet Insurance and Petshealth Care Plan. As the only strategic partner for pet insurance with the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®), Hartville has provided ASPCA Pet Health Insurance to US consumers since 2006.
Whenever a customer is traveling 100 miles or more away from home with their pet, one phone call to Global Pet Plus’s 24/7 Operations Center will immediately connect the customer with services such as veterinary referrals, emergency transport, assistance finding a missing pet, concierge services and a pre-trip checklist. Global Pet Plus makes all the necessary arrangements for services, with no out-of-pocket costs for customers.
“Being the first pet insurance provider to include travel assistance services is another way for us to show how much we value our customers and their family pets,” said Dennis Rushovich, CEO of the Hartville Group. “Our plans already cover visits to any licensed veterinarian in the US or Canada, and now our customers will have even more help when they’re on the road.”
“We’re excited to launch these new pet travel assistance services to Hartville’s pet insurance customers,” said Stephanie Croquez, VP of Business Development for Global Pet Plus. “We hope our services are able to bring extra reassurance to the many people who now travel with their pets.”
