Hartville Pet Insurance Group Enhances Public Relations Focus with New Hire

Hartville Pet Insurance Group has announced the addition of Travis Reynolds as Director of Media Relations and Content Marketing. Reynolds brings over 15 years consumer and business-to-business public relations and corporate communications experience to Hartville.

In this new role, Reynolds will heighten Hartville's presence with the media for all of its brands, telling the company's story to outlets including print, general consumer and trade publications, as well as digital and social media.

He'll also build out the Content Marketing strategy for the company's Strategic Partnership Channel, highlighting Hartville's thought leadership within the veterinary and voluntary benefits space.

"Travis has a track record of creating compelling and effective Media Relations programs that drive and increase brand awareness and customer engagement," said Liz Watson, Chief Marketing Officer, Hartville Pet Insurance Group. "With a solid foundation as a well-rounded communications professional, Travis has the expertise to develop effective PR strategy and innovative campaigns to maximize corporate reputation."

Reynolds joins Hartville after nearly a decade with Time Warner Cable in a variety of corporate communications roles, most recently as the Director of Public Relations for the company's commercial services division. He is a graduate of the University of Akron.

According to NAPHIA's (North American Pet Health Insurance Association) 2016 North American Pet Health Insurance Industry Report, approximately 1.6 million pets in North America are covered by pet health insurance.
